Course Overview
This is a re-certification assessment for workers whose Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) passes are due for renewal. Fonda Global Engineering Pte. Ltd. is an accredited assessment provider approved by the Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
The assessment ensures that workers continue to meet MOM’s safety competency standards for working in the construction industry.
Who Should Attend
This re-certification is for existing CSOC-certified workers who wish to renew their certification.
Entry Requirements
To register for this assessment, you must:
- Be a Singaporean, PR, or valid work permit holder
- Hold a valid CSOC Safety Pass
- Have not previously failed the re-certification assessment or full CSOC course
Assessment Format & Duration
- Total Duration: 4 hours
- Written Test: 1 hour (40 multiple-choice questions – 60% to pass)
- Practical Test: 3 hours (Pass/Fail based on “Competent” standard – must pass 100%)
Important Note
If you fail the CSOC Re-certification Assessment:
- You are not permitted to retake the re-certification directly
- You will need to complete a Microlearning Programme before registering for the full 2-day AWSHCS course (Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites)

Successful candidates will receive:
- A Safety Pass
