Manage Work At Height

Course Overview

This course meets the requirements of the WSH (Work at Heights) Regulations 2013 and the Approved Code of Practice for Working Safely at Height (2011). It equips supervisors, assessors, and managers with the skills to plan, manage, and monitor work-at-height (WAH) activities safely and effectively.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
  •  Understand relevant WSH legislation and codes of practice for WAH
  • Define stakeholder roles and responsibilities
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk evaluation
  • Implement and monitor fall control measures
  • Establish and review Fall Prevention Plans (FPPs)
  • Use and inspect fall protection equipment
  • Respond to emergencies related to falls

  • Development and implementation of a Fall Prevention Plan

Who Should Attend

This course is intended for anyone involved in the supervision, planning, assessment, or management of work-at-height activities.

Entry Requirements

To attend, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a Singaporean, PR, or hold a valid work pass or permit
  • Be medically and physically fit
  • Wear safety boots for practical assessments
You are also expected to:
  • Possess WSQ ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4 or equivalent

Course Format & Duration

Total Duration: 20.5 hours (including 5-hour assessment)
Choose from the following formats:
  •  Day Class: 2.5 full days or 3 Sundays (8:30am to 6:30pm)
  • Evening Class: 5 evenings (6:00pm to 10:00pm)
Attendance: 100% attendance is required
Training includes:
  •  Classroom lectures
  • Demonstrations
  • Practical performance

Assessment

  • Written Test: 35 multiple-choice questions + 2 scenario-based questions
  • Practical Test: Individual demonstration of key WAH skills
You must meet the minimum competency standards to pass.

Certification

Successful participants will receive:
  • An e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
  • A Safety Pass issued by Fonda Global Engineering Pte Ltd
Results are released within one week after course completion.
