Perform Work At Height

Course Overview

This course provides workers with the practical skills and legal knowledge required to safely perform work at height (WAH) in the construction and related sectors. It includes hands-on training on the safe use of fall protection systems, equipment checks, and emergency response for suspension trauma.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
  • Conduct pre- and post-use checks on WAH equipment
  • Use fall prevention and arrest systems according to WSH guidelines
  • Perform work safely at height using approved practices
  • Carry out self-relief techniques during harness suspension trauma
This course is mandatory for all workers involved in work-at-height tasks.

Who Should Attend

This course is required for all workers performing tasks at height in construction and other industry sectors.

Entry Requirements

Learners are assumed to have:
  • Workplace Literacy Level 3 and above (WSQ ES)
  • Workplace Numeracy Level 3 and above

Course Format & Duration

Total Duration: 7.5 hours (includes 1.5-hour assessment)
  • Training: 6 hours in 1 full day
  • Assessment: Written (30 mins) + Practical (1 hour)
  • Attendance: 100% required
Training includes:
  • Classroom lectures
  • Demonstrations
  • Hands-on practice

Assessment

  • Written Test: 60% to pass
  • Practical Test: Must demonstrate full competency

Certification

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
  • An e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
  • A Safety Pass issued by Fonda Global Engineering Pte Ltd
Results will be released within one week after course ends.
