Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry

Course Overview

This course equips construction supervisors with the skills to manage and oversee site safety in accordance with Singapore’s WSH Act, Construction Regulations, and established risk management processes. It is designed for those responsible for ensuring that all work activities are carried out safely and without risk to health.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

  • Assist in planning and organising WSH systems on-site
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures

Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Possess Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 or equivalent
You are also expected to:
  • Have ESS WPLN (Workplace Literacy and Numeracy) Level 4 or equivalent
  • Be able to perform basic numerical tasks (Numeracy Level 4)
  • Preferably have completed SEC(K) Formwork Training (Timber, Aluminium, or System) by BCA

Course Format & Duration

Total Duration: 32 hours (includes 4-hour assessment)
  • Day Class: 4 full days (8:30am – 6:00pm)
  • Attendance: 100% required

Assessment

  • Written Test: 100 multiple-choice questions
  • Role Play / Case Study: Scenario-based evaluation

Certification

Upon successful completion and assessment, participants will receive:
  • An e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
  • A Safety Pass issued by Fonda Global Engineering Pte Ltd
Results will be released within one week of course completion.
